if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and what would your house be like?: in all honesty, i doubt i would want to permanently live anywhere other than los angeles. i'm a born and raised l.a. boy and it's truly where my heart is. i love traveling and seeing other places and of course experiencing other cultures but i still love coming home to california. it would be interesting to go live where my ancestors grew up in sweden though, so if i ever change my mind about l.a. maybe that's where i'll go.
if you knew today was your last day on earth, how would you spend it and who would you spend it with?: i would spend it running around the streets completely naked and causing a complete ruckus. after i get thrown in jail and bailed out, i would spend it with my loved ones. family, close friends and anyone else who would like to see me off would all be invited over to my place for a fantastic meal that i would most definitely cook myself and we would rehash good times and get good and drunk.
who or what inspires you and why?: my family has inspired me since day one. they have always been on my side and push me to be a better person, i can't imagine what i might have become without them. aside from that cliche answer, good people everywhere inspire me everyday. when i hear of all the terrible things that go on in the world and think about giving up on the human race once and for all, i see one simple act of kindness and my faith returns.
in the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your plan of action, and what would be your weapon of choice?: curl into a ball and weep like a small child. if i don't get my flesh and/or brains devoured during that time, i would probably try to find a secure place with food and water and try to ride it out, contact other non-zombies and kick some ass when the zombies try to crash the place. weapon of choice would be a big broadsword and when i realize it's heavy and impractical, probably a bow or a gun. something ranged so i don't have to get in close and risk being bitten.
what is your favorite show/song/movie at the moment?: this is specifically for the moment and definitely not all time but how i met your mother, science and faith by the script and how to train your dragon because i watched it again last night and remembered how wonderful it was.
if you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?: sandwiches, pizza and sushi. i picked all three because they can all be prepared so many different ways, i wouldn't feel so gypped. oh, and because they're all delicious but that should be a given.
if you could be an animagus (able to turn into a specific animal at will), what animal would you be and why?: i want to say either a wolf or a tiger. and not a fruity werewolf, a big badass arctic wolf. both of these choices are mostly aesthetic but i think they're both pretty cool creatures as well. oh wait, can i choose mythical animals? if i can i pick a dragon. hands fucking down.
what is your favorite thing about your career?: i love almost everything about my career, besides the lack of privacy of course. i think my most favorite thing is all the interesting people i get to meet. i get to travel a lot, which is wonderful itself, but it allows me to meet so many different kinds of people and i think it's fascinating how similar, yet completely different we all are.
if you could live one day in someone else's life, who would it be and why, and what would you do and why?: miley cyrus and i would put on pants. i don't think either of those need reasons. my honest answer is a little more personal than i would like to get so i'll just go with this answer, which is obviously a close runner up.
when you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up, and is it anything like what you do now?: i can only imagine the silly things i wanted to be when i was really young but since i can remember, i've wanted to be an actor. i actually turned down a starring role in the mighty ducks because my parents discouraged me from taking it. it would have required me being away from home for 2 months and not many parents would want that for their eleven year old child. i turned down a few other large roles because of them and at the time, it felt terrible, but i really appreciate their concern now. they wanted me to have a normal childhood and concentrate on my studies and myself as a person, not as an actor. i wouldn't go back and change that for anything.
